 The SAFE AGM 2023 provided us with an opportunity to thank Steering Committee Members Lucille Harper, Peter Wade, Marla Gaudet, Mary Ballard, Alaa Hadhad and Osama Sulaiman for the incredible work that they have done over the years to support Syrian families arriving in Antigonish. They have all played such important roles in welcoming families and helping them settle. We are grateful for their energy, dedication, and passion and that they will continue to support the work of SAFE as volunteers.
We also welcomed four new Steering Committee members: Karen Fish, Eric Renaud, Mike Nearing and Anuj Jain. We are so happy that this talented and experienced group of volunteers has joined us to continue SAFE's mission to bring families to a life of peace and safety.
